Meets every 4th Thursday of each month **No Meeting June, July, August, November & December** Leader: Brenda Jones Topic: Power-Up Parenting workshops are created to empower parents with practical skills and strategies that foster independent learning in their children. This class will focus on helping parents discover effective methods to teach children how to make healthy, self-directed choices. By participating, parents will gain tools to encourage their children’s academic achievement and social development, supporting their overall success both in school and everyday life. ***Please Note: This class will be facilitated on the Zoom platform. Internet access and access to a computer/laptop/tablet/smartphone is required to attend. For our support group meetings, all participants must have their cameras on, regardless of whether they are seeking credit or not. This requirement is designed to encourage full engagement and connection among participants, fostering a more supportive atmosphere within our community. Please note that individuals unable to participate with their cameras on will not be able to join the support group sessions. We kindly request that participants avoid using distracting virtual backgrounds. For privacy, we recommend using the blur feature instead. You cannot take this class in a vehicle.
