This class will review the video story of a boy and his uncle who go through placement, reunification and permanency. Participants will watch the short documentary and discuss the challenges and rewards of kinship care. The class will review the changing role for kinship caregivers, learn about the importance of providing support to children through reunification and permanency, and how to get creative about what the children may call them through their changing roles.
