Mindfulness Mondays- These trainings offer resource parents a welcoming, trauma-informed space to find support, practice somatic tools, strengthen connection and attachment, and care for themselves while caring for children.
Topic: Transitions in the foster care system can be extremely difficult for children. This series on Transitions, we will look at different times of transition in our children’s journey through foster care and learn how we can help make these times of transition easier for our children to navigate.
Adoptions Placement: This workshop will review how Resource Parents can help make transitions easier for our children to navigate by learning how to help children understand permanency and adoption, the importance of creating good transition plans, working with the adoptive family and keeping connections for life.
For our training & support meetings, all participants must have their cameras on, regardless of whether they are seeking credit or not. This requirement is designed to encourage full engagement and connection among participants, fostering a more supportive atmosphere within our community. Please note that individuals unable to participate with their cameras on will not be able to join the sessions.
