Description: This presentation provides an overview of TASK’s services and supports for families of children and youth with disabilities, from early intervention through transition to adulthood. Participants will learn about TASK’s role as a Parent Training and Information Center (PTI), how to access individualized support, and available guidance related to special education, IEPs, 504 Plans, transition services, and community resources. The session will also highlight how TASK partners with schools and community organizations to empower families and promote informed advocacy.

Internet access and access to a computer/laptop/tablet/smartphone is required to attend.

For our support group meetings, all participants must have their cameras on, regardless of whether they are seeking credit or not. This requirement is designed to encourage full engagement and connection among participants, fostering a more supportive atmosphere within our community. Please note that individuals unable to participate with their cameras on will not be able to join the support group sessions.
