SUMMARY:Online | TASK: Supporting Families of Children with Disabilities
DESCRIPTION:Description: This presentation provides an overview of TASK’s
  services and supports for families of children and youth with disabilitie
 s\, from early intervention through transition to adulthood. Participants 
 will learn about TASK’s role as a Parent Training and Information Center
  (PTI)\, how to access individualized support\, and available guidance rel
 ated to special education\, IEPs\, 504 Plans\, transition services\, and c
 ommunity resources. The session will also highlight how TASK partners with
  schools and community organizations to empower families and promote infor
 med advocacy.\n\n&nbsp\;\n***Please Note: This class will be facilitated o
 n the Zoom platform.\n Internet access and access to a computer/laptop/tab
 let/smartphone is required to attend.\nFor our support group meetings\, al
 l participants must have their cameras on\, regardless of whether they ar
 e seeking credit or not. This requirement is designed to encourage full en
 gagement and connection among participants\, fostering a more supportive a
 tmosphere within our community. Please note that individuals unable to par
 ticipate with their cameras on will not be able to join the support group
