Supportive Strategies for Resource Homes– A trauma-informed training and support class for resource parents, including foster, kinship, and adoptive families. This group is a place to come as you are, connect with people who understand the journey, share real experiences, and learn practical tools that can help at home. Our goal is for caregivers to leave feeling supported, encouraged, and less alone.
Topic: This workshop will help participants to learn about the signs of traumatic stress, its impact on children, treatment options, and how families and caregivers can help children regulate, cope and overcome traumatic stress. You play a very important role in your child’s treatment and recovery.
For our training & support meetings, all participants must have their cameras on, regardless of whether they are seeking credit or not. This requirement is designed to encourage full engagement and connection among participants, fostering a more supportive atmosphere within our community. Please note that individuals unable to participate with their cameras on will not be able to join the sessions.

Internet access and access to a computer/laptop/tablet/smartphone is required to attend.
