Parenting Teens- Connect with a peer-led, trauma-informed community designed specifically for caregivers of adolescents. This ongoing training and support group equips you to navigate trauma responses, foster independence, and build trust with teens through shared wisdom and knowledge-based strategies.

Topic: Teens may not always ask for connection in obvious ways, but quality one-on-one time can make a powerful difference in how they feel seen, valued, and understood. This class helps resource parents discover why intentional “special time” matters, how it differs from everyday routines or casual moments, and how it can strengthen trust with the teens in their care. Through simple, realistic strategies, caregivers will leave with six clear steps for building connection, encouraging open communication, and showing teens that they matter-not just when something needs to be done, but simply because they are worth the time.

***Please Note: This class will be facilitated on the Zoom platform.

Internet access and access to a computer/laptop/tablet/smartphone is required to attend.

For our support group meetings, all participants must have their cameras on, regardless of whether they are seeking credit or not. This requirement is designed to encourage full engagement and connection among participants, fostering a more supportive atmosphere within our community. Please note that individuals unable to participate with their cameras on will not be able to join the support group sessions.

We kindly request that participants avoid using distracting virtual backgrounds. For privacy, we recommend using the blur feature instead.
