He served as Director of a post-adoption mental health clinic and is a nationally recognized speaker on adoption topics. Ron integrates evidence-based practices with specialized knowledge of adoption-specific concerns, helping families build resilience and healthy relationships. He continues to serve the adoption community through FamilyHealer.tv providing resources and tools for families and professionals.

Description: This training equips professionals with trauma-informed strategies to support kinship caregivers navigating complex family dynamics, role confusion, and boundary challenges while maintaining relationships with birth parents. Participants will learn evidence-based approaches to help kinship families manage guilt, grief, and divided loyalties while ensuring child safety.
