An opportunity to meet with other foster/adoptive families to share experiences, discuss the foster/adoption process, and support each other while awaiting a foster/adoptive placement.

Topic: Getting that call about a potential child can be very emotional and exciting. Families who are waiting may want to say yes to any child they are called about, or may be too afraid to say no because of fear of not getting another call. Come learn about the best questions to ask and why it is important to get as much information up front before you make this life-changing decision. You want to make sure the child you are called about is the best match for your family and that you are the best family for that child.

Internet access and access to a computer/laptop/tablet/smartphone is required to attend.

For our support group meetings, all participants must have their cameras on, regardless of whether they are seeking credit or not. This requirement is designed to encourage full engagement and connection among participants, fostering a more supportive atmosphere within our community. Please note that individuals unable to participate with their cameras on will not be able to join the support group sessions.

We kindly request that participants avoid using distracting virtual backgrounds. For privacy, we recommend using the blur feature instead.

You cannot take this class in a vehicle.
