In this session, retired elementary school teacher (1972‐2013) and songwriter will review the songs “If You’re Angry and You Know It” and “Self Talk” to help caregivers better understand and connect with children from traumatized backgrounds. Additionally, how using music can help caregivers to aid their children in understanding and expressing their feelings; and therefore helping them heal, be resilient caring and capable kids who deserve to enjoy their childhood and youth.
