Description: In order to respond to the overwhelming issues associated with domestic violence, resource parents need to understand these issues and know how to identify them as well as assess and provide treatment to children and youth affected by domestic violence. The dynamics of domestic violence, the impact of exposure to domestic violence on children, and strategies for supporting children who have been exposed to DV will be discussed in this very important class.
