This support group will focus on positive parenting/discipline. Caregivers will learn that kids are all different and even the best parenting will never create the “perfect child”. Once we understand that there are no perfect parents and no one-size-fits-all all approach to parenting kids, only then will you be able to be the best parent you can be.
Description: Have you ever offered your child a treat or screen time if they behaved at an appointment? You’re not alone. We often bribe our kids to do what we want. This can be a quick fix for parents. In this class, we will talk about the use of Encouragement and Rewards and better ways of improving behavior long-term. Learn and discuss the pros and cons of Reward Systems in Positive Parenting.
***Please Note: This class will be facilitated on the Zoom platform. Internet access and access to a computer/laptop/tablet/smartphone is required to attend.
