RFA- A Shared Purpose!- This is an ongoing training and support team to help all types of caregivers, relatives, non-related extended family members (NREFMs), and community members navigate the RFA process in their caregiving journey. Discussions will include RFA pre- and post-approval requirements, how to comply with County/State regulations once certified as a resource parent, community resources available to children and caregivers, and how resource parents can build/expand their support network. Being a resource parent is a rewarding experience that might come with questions, so if you want to learn more about these topics or feel that you can benefit from talking to others with similar experiences, please join us.
