During this hands-on workshop, and while using a hair wash unit for a live demo, participants will better understand how to support youth to have stronger confident identities by learning how to care for multi-ethnic hair in order to teach their youth how to care for and appreciate their own natural hair. For this class only, Resource Parents are encouraged to bring their youth (limit one per family due to space) to work on their hair. Please indicate in the Special Request or Comment box if you will be bringing a youth with you.
