Foster Youth Panel
Each foster child has their own experience and story. Some foster youth experienced more traumas while in foster care than when they were with their birth families. Other foster youth had an amazing foster family or relative who cared for them and stuck with them through the good and bad. While other foster youth moved from place to place looking for somewhere to belong and find stability.
A panel of former foster youth will share their individual stories and experiences of foster care. From their stories and experiences, we can learn best practices and how to be effective resource parents to ensure successful caring for foster children and youth.
