**No meeting in January, July – September and December 2024*
(The Options for Recovery Perinatal Program is for children ages 0 to 60 months who are drug and/or alcohol exposed and/or HIV positive. Options Caregivers receive 35 hours of specialized training and qualify for 48 hours of monthly respite. Topic: Welcoming a child in need to your home is a life‐changing experience that should be cherished and taken seriously. With that experience comes challenges. You can expect to fulfill the role of a parental figure, comply with regulations, and adjust your life to address your child’s needs. In this training, we’ll discuss advice on how to care for children from foster care like a seasoned pro and enjoy the journey.
