TIPS is the 12-hour pre-service training program that the County of San Diego requires prior to approving a resource parent. It consists of four 3-hour training sessions.
You are registering for Class 808z. The dates for each of the 4 sessions are as follows:
Session # 1 | Monday, January 6, 2025
Session # 2 | Wednesday, January 8, 2025
Session # 3 | Monday January 13, 2025
Session # 4 | Wednesday, January 15, 2025
You will receive an email confirmation of your registration. The email will provide you with the first date of the class, as well as the time and location. The dates for sessions 2, 3, and 4 will not be provided. Please make a note of those dates or reference the main TIPS page- Click here.
Registration will close on Monday, January 6, 2025, at 7 am
***Please Note: This TIPS class will be facilitated on the Zoom platform.
Internet access and access to a computer/laptop/tablet/smartphone is required to attend.
We kindly request that participants avoid using distracting virtual backgrounds. For privacy, we recommend using the blur feature instead.
You cannot take this class in a vehicle.
