Parenting Teens- Connect with a peer-led, trauma-informed community designed specifically for caregivers of adolescents. This ongoing training and support group equips you to navigate trauma responses, foster independence, and build trust with teens through shared wisdom and knowledge-based strategies.
Topic: Understand the importance of attachment in parenting both for the children and parents who are fostering or adopting; recognize the impact of fractured attachments/lack of attachments on children’s ability to attach; can identify strategies to develop healthy attachment bonds, developing trust and developing children’s sense of connectedness and belonging; know how to be attuned to children; recognizing and honoring children’s primary attachment to their families.

***Please Note: This class will be facilitated on the Zoom platform.
Internet access and access to a computer/laptop/tablet/smartphone is required to attend.
For our support group meetings, all participants must have their cameras on, regardless of whether they are seeking credit or not. This requirement is designed to encourage full engagement and connection among participants, fostering a more supportive atmosphere within our community. Please note that individuals unable to participate with their cameras on will not be able to join the support group sessions.
We kindly request that participants avoid using distracting virtual backgrounds. For privacy, we recommend using the blur feature instead.
You cannot take this class in a vehicle.
