Online | Navigating Special Education & Understanding the Secret Language of IEP’s

Participants will learn about the special education process, which will include an intro to IEPs, how to read an IEP, recognizing the red flags in an IEP, and identifying and drafting appropriate IEP goals, as well as knowing the educational rights of foster youth. Other topics to be discussed include, an overview of autism and specific learning disabilities, behavioral, psychological, emotional and medical accommodations and practical applications and how to talk to an advocate about your Child’s IEP.
