Online | Mindfulness As A Path To Inner and Outer Happiness

Description: Brain research confirms the power of mindfulness to affect and change our level of well‐being and happiness. Mindfulness triggers brainwave patterns associated with relaxed alertness. It increases serotonin levels, activating positive emotions. Mindfulness also strengthens awareness of our internal state, which increases empathy and counters the “fight or flight” response of the brain and helps us relax. Mindfulness even strengthens the immune system, improves cardiovascular health, and lessens chronic pain.
In this on‐going class series, participants learn and experience various mindfulness practices that lead to greater well‐being and happiness. Each class includes a guided meditation in mindfulness based stress reduction. A regular deep relaxation and mindfulness practice has a positive impact on all aspects of our lives, including the quality of our parenting.”
