Online | Foster Parenting Toolbox
Each child in foster care has their own unique story; and needs and require a different set of tools in your parenting toolbox. In this class we will give you some parenting tools that will help you in your journey as a caregiver for traumatized children. We will discuss the importance of transitions, keeping connections and teamwork. You will discover ways to help your child with loss, grief and anger and how to build trust and attachment with your child.
This class will help you learn some new discipline tools that will help your child heal and help you feel good as a parent and you will hear personal stories from foster families in the trenches. Whether you are a relative caregiver, foster or adoptive parent, social worker, or CASA, this class has something for everyone and you won’t want to miss this one!
