This course will touch on the topic of nutrition and health. Resource Parents will be provided the 5210 message (5 fruits and vegetables a day and 0 sugary drinks) to implement in their households. To provide up to date health education, Scripps Family Medicine Residences will inform parents of the importance of maintaining a healthy, well‐balanced diet, and teach Resource Parents how to read food labels.
