Online | North County Support Group- Transitions Series: Reunification

Transitions Series (Overview): Transitions in the foster care system can be extremely difficult for children. This series on Transitions, we will look at different times of transition in our children’s journey through foster care and learn how we can help make these times of transition easier for our children to navigate.
Reunification: This workshop will review how Resource Parents can help make transitions easier for our children to navigate by understanding what a good transition (i.e. reunification) back home should look like, the importance of working with the birth family and why it is important to keep connections after the transition is complete.
Registration will close on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at 7 am
***Please Note: This class will be facilitated on the Zoom platform.
Internet access and access to a computer/laptop/tablet/smartphone is required to attend.

Special Note:
Beginning in January 2025, participants will no longer be allowed to attend any class or support group while in a car. This change is intended to improve the learning experience and ensure the safety and engagement of everyone involved.
For our support group meetings, all participants must have their cameras on, regardless of whether they are seeking credit or not. This requirement is designed to encourage full engagement and connection among participants, fostering a more supportive atmosphere within our community. Please note that individuals unable to participate with their cameras on will not be able to join the support group sessions.
