CSEC is not just a foster care issue but foster youth are at an increased risk of becoming involved in Commercial Sexual Exploitation.  Low self esteem, emotional distance from caregivers and trauma can leave a foster youth vulnerable to becoming involved.  We will look at the factors that put foster youth at risk, the signs of involvement, and ways to help a youth who may be at risk.
