Healthy Eating and Living: Helping Families with Nutrition & Physical Education
Series of 3 Tuesday workshops – Please plan to attend all three
Instructor: Margarita Schwarz-Ramirez
Tuesdays: February 4, 11 & 18, 2020
Did you know that children in foster care are at greater risk for poor health, physical, cognitive, behavioral, and developmental outcomes than are children in the general population?
This interactive workshop is intended to help caregivers understand the importance of good nutrition and active lifestyles for themselves and for those under their care. Caregivers will learn easy tips on how to meal plan, how to shop smart and easy ways to incorporate more fruits and vegetables into their family’s diet so that eating healthy can be enjoyed by the entire family.
Please note, no childcare is provided or available onsite. Do not bring babies or children to class. Thank you!
