Dispelling the Myths: Exceptional Children Caregiver Panel

Date/Time
06/06/2017 | 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Location
San Diego County Foster Parent Assoc.

Type of Class

For many resource families the thought of caring for a medically fragile child, a large sibling group or an older child is frightening.  Many resource parents think they don’t have what it takes to parent this type of exceptional child or children. Come hear from a panel of exceptional caregivers who had those same doubts at one time and hear about their joys and struggles of caring for these exceptional children and the resources available for those families who step up to take care of these amazing and exceptional children.

Instructor: Nicole Espinosa, LCSW & Carol Kosik Sproul, Social Worker
