Understanding RFA and the Written Directives – Understanding RFA and the Written Directives- Raising kids is difficult, having to follow a “book of rules” while parenting can seem overwhelming. Let us make it easier! In this class we will explain what prudent parenting is, our kid’s personal rights, who is able to help care for foster children, punishment dos and don’ts, phone use and rules, privacy, safety, and compliance. All within the scope of the Written Directives.

(The Options for Recovery Perinatal Program is for children ages 0 to 60 months who are drug and/or alcohol exposed and/or HIV positive. Options Caregivers receive 35 hours of specialized training and qualify for 48 hours of monthly respite. If you are interested in becoming an Options caregiver, please call Graciela Soto at (619)813-7519 or email email hidden; JavaScript is required.)
