Meets every 2nd Friday of the Month ***No Meeting July & December 2024*** Support Group Leader: MaryAnn Paschal This is an ongoing support group to help all types of caregivers, relatives, non‐related extended family members (NREFMs), and community members navigate the RFA process in their caregiving journey. Discussions will include RFA pre/post-approval requirements, how to comply with the County/State regulations once certified as a resource parent, community resources available for children and caregivers, and how resource parents can build/expand their support network. Being a resource parent is a rewarding experience that might come with questions, so if you want to learn more about these topics or feel that you can benefit from talking to others with similar experiences, please join us. ***Please Note: This support group will be facilitated on the online platform called Zoom. Internet access and access to a computer/laptop/tablet/smartphone is required to attend.
