Topic: Deputy District Attorney Shawnalyse Ochoa, will join us to present on Internet Safety. Utilizing her 23 years of experience as a prosecutor, she will share knowledge and tips on how to keep your children safe while online. Highlighting previous cases, she will discuss the risks children face in the digital world, including cyberbullying, online predators, social media dangers, and the permanence of digital footprints. Parents will learn practical strategies for monitoring online activity, setting healthy boundaries, and starting meaningful conversations with their children about internet use. The session emphasizes collaboration between families, schools, and law enforcement to create a safer online environment and concludes with a Q&A to address specific concerns from the audience.

Internet access and access to a computer/laptop/tablet/smartphone is required to attend.
For our support group meetings, all participants must have their cameras on, regardless of whether they are seeking credit or not. This requirement is designed to encourage full engagement and connection among participants, fostering a more supportive atmosphere within our community. Please note that individuals unable to participate with their cameras on will not be able to join the support group sessions.
