Parenting the Adolescent
Instructor: Mike Jones, LCSW
Have you ever wondered what makes your adolescent tick? Adolescence can be a confusing and very stressful time for parents, as well as for their children going through adolescence. Parents may struggle to know how to parent as their child and their relationship with their child changes. A goal of parenting an adolescent is supporting more mutual detachment to foster the young person’s growing trust in self-reliance, thereby able to grow their own wings.
Join therapist Mike Jones, LCSW who will share insights and information about parenting strategies to deal with challenges, adolescent development and all things important if you are raising an adolescent.
Please note that childcare is not provided or available on site. We ask that you not bring babies or children to these workshops. Thank you for your understanding.
