Topic: Welcoming a child in need into your home is a life‐changing experience that should be cherished and taken seriously. With that experience comes challenges. You can expect to fulfill the role of a parental figure, comply with regulations, and adjust your life to address your child’s needs. In this training, we’ll discuss advice on how to care for children from foster care like a seasoned pro and enjoy the journey.

Internet access and access to a computer/laptop/tablet/smartphone is required to attend.
For our support group meetings, all participants must have their cameras on, regardless of whether they are seeking credit or not. This requirement is designed to encourage full engagement and connection among participants, fostering a more supportive atmosphere within our community. Please note that individuals unable to participate with their cameras on will not be able to join the support group sessions.
We kindly request that participants avoid using distracting virtual backgrounds. For privacy, we recommend using the blur feature instead.
