Complex Trauma ‐ Tips for Caregivers: This class will review behaviors and emotions that children who have experienced abuse and neglect may exhibit. Caregivers will learn to identify triggers and reminders and learn effective ways to manage problem behaviors and emotions. Participants will also explore the importance of self‐care for caregivers.
***Please Note: This class will be facilitated on the Zoom platform.
Internet access and access to a computer/laptop/tablet/smartphone is required to attend.
For our support group meetings, all participants must have their cameras on, regardless of whether they are seeking credit or not. This requirement is designed to encourage full engagement and connection among participants, fostering a more supportive atmosphere within our community. Please note that individuals unable to participate with their cameras on will not be able to join the support group sessions.
We kindly request that participants avoid using distracting virtual backgrounds. For privacy, we recommend using the blur feature instead.
You cannot take this class in a vehicle.
