(The Options for Recovery Perinatal Program is for children ages 0 to 60 months who are drug and/or alcohol exposed and/or HIV positive. Options Caregivers receive 35 hours of specialized training and qualify for 48 hours of monthly respite. Topic: This workshop will discuss the laws that designate the groups of professionals that are required to report cases of suspected child abuse and neglect and reporting by other persons, the responsibilities of institutions in making reports, standards for making a report,and the confidentiality of the reporter’s identity.
