Description: This presentation will explore the unique dynamics in parenting for Black Foster, Adoptive and Kinship Families. The Seven Core Issues in Adoption & Permanency are considered through an African American/Black lens. Tools and strategies for supporting Black adopted children and the families, including addressing racism when parenting, will be discussed.
