Visitations while in foster care are important for youth to have. It keeps them connected to their bio families. However, visitations can also be challenging and not just for the child but for the Resource Families too.

This class will discuss the best ways to supervise and conduct visitations as a Resource Parent. Helpful tips such as locations to hold visitations, activities, and therapeutic techniques to make visits more successful will also be shared. Tips for kinship caregivers will also be discussed as kinship caregiving can bring on additional challenges.
