Transitions Series: (Overview): Transitions in the foster care system can be extremely difficult for children. We want to make transitions easier for them to manage. To do this, we need tools and strategies to help them. Through this series on Transitions, we will look at different times of transition in our children’s journey through foster care and learn how we can help make these times of transition easier for our children to navigate
Sibling Visits- There are federal mandates that require states to either keep siblings together in foster care or ensure that visitation occurs between siblings that must be separated. We will discuss what this means for foster children and how we can advocate for them.
