Respite Care, Child Care, Self Care: This workshop will inform parents about the importance of self‐care, which includes utilizing Respite Care and Child Care, and how it relates to parenting and managing stress (coping with daily stress and frustration). This workshop will also provide examples of self‐care activities parents can easily do and use on a daily basis, and with their children too. Parents will also learn tips to identify, recognize, and understand stress levels and how to minimize its toxic effects and understand how their stress can impact others in the home too.
***Please Note: This class will be facilitated on the Zoom platform.
Internet access and access to a computer/laptop/tablet/smartphone is required to attend.
For our support group meetings, all participants must have their cameras on, regardless of whether they are seeking credit or not. This requirement is designed to encourage full engagement and connection among participants, fostering a more supportive atmosphere within our community. Please note that individuals unable to participate with their cameras on will not be able to join the support group sessions.
We kindly request that participants avoid using distracting virtual backgrounds. For privacy, we recommend using the blur feature instead.
