Navigating relationships with the birth family in foster care and adoption can sometimes be challenging and emotionally draining.  It is hard when so many feelings are involved for the birth parent, child, and you as the caregiver.  In this class, you will hear about an adoptive mom’s successful experience of keeping connections with the birth family and how it benefits not only the birth family and adoptive family but most importantly how valuable it has been for the child.  You will learn tools to navigate these relationships and how to best support your child on their trauma healing journey.

Registration will close on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at 7 am
