Most children in out-of-home care have experienced disruptions in attachment formation due to child abuse, neglect, and/or multiple placements. Traditional parenting, which relies upon a strong attachment, doesn’t work well with these children. Come to get an understanding of the way traumatized children see life and how you can alter your parenting techniques to accommodate their unique life experiences and current needs. (Join us for any or all of the sessions.
(When you sign up for one session, you will have access to all remaining sessions after that).
