Description: This course is an introduction on the LGBTQ+ population and how toprovide safe, affirmative spaces and support LGBTQ+ youth, families, and caregivers. This introductory training will allow individuals to reflect on their unconscious biases and become familiar with issues effecting the LGBTQ+ individuals in our lives. The LGBTQ+ population is one of the most vulnerable populations due to non‐supportive, even hostile environments in their homes, schools, and communities.
