This is an ongoing support group to help all types of caregivers, relatives, non‐related extended family members (NREFMs), and community members navigate the RFA process in their caregiving journey. Discussions will include RFA pre/post-approval requirements, how to comply with the County/State regulations once certified as a resource parent, community resources available for children and caregivers, and how resource parents can build/expand their support network. Being a resource parent is a rewarding experience that might come with questions, so if you want to learn more about these topics or feel that you can benefit from talking to others with similar experiences, please join us.

Internet access and access to a computer/laptop/tablet/smartphone is required to attend.

For our support group meetings, all participants must have their cameras on, regardless of whether they are seeking credit or not. This requirement is designed to encourage full engagement and connection among participants, fostering a more supportive atmosphere within our community. Please note that individuals unable to participate with their cameras on will not be able to join the support group sessions.

We kindly request that participants avoid using distracting virtual backgrounds. For privacy, we recommend using the blur feature instead.

You cannot take this class in a vehicle.
