Ongoing training and support will be provided on positive discipline, the importance of brain structure and development in early childhood, and how to care for babies in the Child Welfare System.

5 Steps to Brain Building Serve and Return: This class will discuss the concept of “serve and return” as it is related to brain development. Research has shown that child‐adult relationships that are responsive and attentive – with a lot of back-and-forth interactions build a strong foundation in a child’s brain for all future learning and development.
***Please Note: This class will be facilitated on the Zoom platform.
Internet access and access to a computer/laptop/tablet/smartphone is required to attend.
For our support group meetings, all participants must have their cameras on, regardless of whether they are seeking credit or not. This requirement is designed to encourage full engagement and connection among participants, fostering a more supportive atmosphere within our community. Please note that individuals unable to participate with their cameras on will not be able to join the support group sessions.
We kindly request that participants avoid using distracting virtual backgrounds. For privacy, we recommend using the blur feature instead.
