Ongoing training and support will be provided on positive discipline, the importance of brain structure and development in early childhood and how to care for babies in the Child Welfare System.
Topic: The experiences we have in the first years of our lives impacts the physical architecture of the developing brain. By understanding the science behind brain development we can take action that will improve the physical and mental health and reduce risk for children across the lifespan, especially for children with trauma backgrounds.
