Part 2 of a 2 part workshop

Description: The goal for this workshop are for resource parents to understand that children with intellectual/development disabilities (IDD) experience mental health conditions and to understand the various ways that children with IDD experience trauma and the impact trauma has on children with IDD. This workshop seeks for resource parents to understand the importance of trauma‐informed care for children with IDD and how the information and tools from the workshop can be used to improve provider/caregiver capacity for provision of trauma‐informed care for children with IDD.
