This class will take place in an outdoor setting and social distancing will be followed

Description: Imagine the trauma a child must endure when they are removed from one home and placed in another, many times not knowing where they are going, who will be there when they get there, and if that family will keep them safe? Every day children in foster care are moved from home to home with very little information or explanation. Come learn how Welcome Family Books can help ease a foster child’s fears and transition better into your family. Every child in foster care deserves a Family Welcome Book; come learn how to make one for the next child that will be coming to your home.

Training Hours: 3 hrs credit (training from 6 – 9 pm)

Dinner at 5:30 pm
