Transitions Series: (Overview): Transitions in the foster care system can be extremely difficult for children. We want to make transitions easier for them to manage. To do this, we need tools and strategies to help them. Through this series on Transitions, we will look at different times of transition in our children’s journey through foster care and learn how we can help make these times of transition easier for our children to navigate. This is session 3 in the series of 6.

Change of Placement- The ultimate goal is for participants to understand the complex process of Placement, The participants will understand the importance of making sure they receive all information available about the child to lessen the possibility of disruption of Placement. The participants will understand the importance of maintaining any medical, educational, visitation, etc services that are in place for the child.
