Meets every 3rd Wednesday of each month
This group will cover all parts of the foster/adoptive journey, including supporting reunification and kinship placements, keeping connections, the court process, working with the social workers, and adoption.

Transitions Series (Overview): Transitions in the foster care system can be extremely difficult for children. In this series on Transitions, we will look at different times of transition in our children’s journey through foster care and learn how we can help make these times of transition easier for our children to navigate.
Adoptions Placement: This workshop will review how Resource Parents can help make transitions easier for our children to navigate by learning how to help children understand permanency and adoption, the importance of creating good transition plans, working with the adoptive family and keeping connections for life.
Registration will close on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at 7 am

Internet access and access to a computer/laptop/tablet/smartphone is required to attend.

Special Note:
Beginning in January 2025, participants will no longer be allowed to attend any class or support group while in a car. This change is intended to improve the learning experience and ensure the safety and engagement of everyone involved.
For our support group meetings, all participants must have their cameras on, regardless of whether they are seeking credit or not. This requirement is designed to encourage full engagement and connection among participants, fostering a more supportive atmosphere within our community. Please note that individuals unable to participate with their cameras on will not be able to join the support group sessions.
