Meets every 3rd Wednesday of each month
**This meeting will move to the 3rd Saturday of the month in 2025**
This group will cover all parts of the foster/adoptive journey, including supporting reunification and kinship placements, keeping connections, the court process, working with the social workers, and adoption.
Group Leader: Rhonda Oliver
Keeping Connections for Life: This workshop will discuss the importance of keeping important connections in children’s lives. Including how children’s past relationships are important, thinking about the effects of losing everything on children in foster care, why keeping safe, healthy relationships can help children heal and rethinking openness in adoption and what that looks like.

Internet access and access to a computer/laptop/tablet/smartphone is required to attend.

Beginning in January 2025, participants will no longer be allowed to attend any class or support group while in a car. This change is intended to improve the learning experience and ensure the safety and engagement of everyone involved.
For our support group meetings, all participants must have their cameras on, regardless of whether they are seeking credit or not. This requirement is designed to encourage full engagement and connection among participants, fostering a more supportive atmosphere within our community. Please note that individuals unable to participate with their cameras on will not be able to join the support group sessions.
