Attachment Parenting Class Central/North Central
6 Wednesdays; March 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th, April 5th, & 12th
Most children in out of home care have experienced disruptions in attachment formation due to child abuse, neglect, and/or multiple placements. Traditional parenting, which relies upon a strong attachment, doesn’t work well with these children. Come get an understanding of the way traumatized children see life and how you can alter your parenting techniques to accommodate their unique life experiences and current need.
You must register on the first date of the series and attend all classes in order.
