Meets every 1st Thursday of each month ***No meetings in July, November, and December*** Leader: MaryJo Meer Sibling Issues in Foster Care and Adoption: Preserving connections among siblings in foster care is so important as it provides positive support and can improve their outcomes in life. Preserving these connections can also serve as a protective factor as it can support the youths well‐being, be a source of continuity throughout their lifetime, and be the longest relationships that they experience. Join us to learn the importance of sibling relationships while in foster care. Registration will close on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at 7 am ***Please Note: This class will be facilitated on the Zoom platform. Internet access and access to a computer/laptop/tablet/smartphone is required to attend. For our support group meetings, all participants must have their cameras on, regardless of whether they are seeking credit or not. This requirement is designed to encourage full engagement and connection among participants, fostering a more supportive atmosphere within our community. Please note that individuals unable to participate with their cameras on will not be able to join the support group sessions. We kindly request that participants avoid using distracting virtual backgrounds. For privacy, we recommend using the blur feature instead. You cannot take this class in a vehicle.
